These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at opiongames.com and all mobile applications published by Opion Games LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), including Word Lock. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Licence to use our games

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our games for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes on devices you own or control.

This licence does not allow you to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of our games or website content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our games.
• Use our games or services for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Transfer your licence to any other person.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts, or similar) to play or interact with our games.

3. User conduct

When using our services, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit glitches, or use any unauthorised software that affects gameplay.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing.
• Use our services in any way that violates applicable UK or international law.

4. In-app purchases and virtual items

Our games may offer in-app purchases, including virtual currency (such as gold coins) and other virtual items. Please note:

• Virtual items and currency are licensed to you, not sold. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another user.
• All in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their respective terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.
• Except as required by applicable consumer protection law, in-app purchases are non-refundable. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under law, please contact the relevant platform (Apple or Google) directly.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any virtual item or in-game feature at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

5. Intellectual property

All content in our games and on our website — including but not limited to game mechanics, artwork, graphics, music, sound effects, text, and code — is owned by or licensed to Opion Games LTD and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party services

Our games and website use third-party services including Unity Ads, Unity IAP, and Formspree. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those third parties.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Our games and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Opion Games LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) £10.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

9. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect. Nothing here is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, the licence granted to you in Section 2 will cease immediately. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 12 will survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For significant changes, we will try to provide reasonable advance notice through an in-game notice.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
